Title | Solving strong dynamics of gauge theories using supersymmetry and anomaly mediation |
Abstract | Non-perturbative dynamics of gauge theories is notoriously difficult to study. I show how I can use supersymmetric gauge theories perturbed by infinitesimal supersymmetry breaking by anomaly mediation allows for exact solutions. For the case of vector-like theories, I can demonstrate monopole condensation and q-qbar condensates to prove confinement and chiral symmetry breaking. I also discuss chiral gauge theories that are still subject to conjectures. For the concrete examples of SO(10) theories with 16s, I present concrete exact results. I also discuss challenges whether there is a phase transition to extrapolate the results to non-SUSY gauge theories. |
